The Planets - Uranus.

Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun.

The information below is included to let you know
a little more about the planets in our solar system.
You will not be expected to remember this information for the exam.

Uranus spins on its axis once in about 17 hours.
The surface temperature of
Uranus is about -220°C.

Uranus is the third largest planet.
Like Jupiter and Saturn,
Uranus is made mainly from hydrogen and helium.
There is a little methane in the atmosphere
which makes Uranus appear a pale blue colour.

It has a very weak magnetic field and has at least fifteen moons.
